In the News

This past year we had the pleasure of having CBS Los Angeles with us to shine some light on what we've been doing here at Maria's Closet for the last 9 years. They interviewed our founder, Ronna Luna, as well as some of our girls to get some insight on what it means to be a part of our Prom Dress Giveaway. This was our 8th annual BIG GIVE, and as we say every year (because they just keep getting better!), this was our best one yet. Thank you to the CBS team for taking the time to come out and showcase our non-profit organization and the mission behind what we do. In the words of Ronna Luna, "I knew there had to be more." More girls who needed a little help making it all possible, and that's what we are here to do.

Non-Profit
of the Year

Maria's Closet was voted "Non-Profit of the Year" in 2024 by our local Chamber of Commerce for the impact we are making in the community. The overwhelming support we experienced for this accollade was an honor. But, if anything, this award is a testament to the work we do and the people that make it happen. We will continue to take action to change lives.
